Read this before you send a number.
This page governs your use of this website and any offer you submit through it. If you do not agree with every part of it, do not use the site and do not submit an offer.

1. Who operates this site
This website is operated by the individual registrant of the domain name shown on the front page (the Registrant, "I", "me"). The Registrant is a private individual acting in a personal capacity. The Registrant is not a company, broker, marketplace, escrow agent, registrar, or legal adviser, and is not acting on behalf of any employer, client, or third party.
2. No affiliation, no endorsement, no trademark claim
The domain name displayed on this site is a string of characters registered under a country-code or generic top-level domain. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or otherwise connected to any company, organization, product, service, or trademark whose name it may resemble, in whole or in part, in any jurisdiction.
The Registrant makes no claim of ownership of, right to, or interest in any trademark, trade name, service mark, trade dress, logo, or brand. Any similarity between the domain name and any mark is not intended to suggest, and does not suggest, association, source, sponsorship, or approval. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
This site does not use, display, or reproduce any third party's logo, artwork, product imagery, slogan, or copyrighted material. It does not describe, review, compare, or reference any third party's business, products, or services. It offers no goods or services other than the possible transfer of the domain name registration itself.
This site is not directed at any particular person, company, or trademark holder. The Registrant does not solicit any specific party and has not contacted, and will not contact, any trademark holder to offer this domain for sale. Any inquiry originates solely from the visitor.
3. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell
Despite the informal language on the front page, nothing on this website constitutes an offer to sell, a listing for sale, a reservation, or a commitment of any kind by the Registrant. The front page is an invitation for you to state what you would be willing to pay, and, where a "Buy now" figure is shown, an invitation to propose a purchase at that figure. Neither is an offer capable of acceptance by you.
The "Buy now" figure is an indicative asking price that the Registrant may change, suspend, or withdraw at any time without notice, including after you have clicked it. Clicking "Buy now" and submitting your email address sends the Registrant a request to proceed at that figure. It does not reserve the domain, does not complete a purchase, does not take payment, and does not bind the Registrant to sell. A sale at that figure, as with any other, occurs only under a separate written purchase agreement signed by both parties and settled through escrow as described in section 5. If the Registrant does not respond, or declines, no agreement exists and neither party owes the other anything.
The text that appears as you type a number (for example "Keep going" or "Fine") is automated, generic, and generated locally in your browser from a fixed script. It is not a response from the Registrant, not an acceptance, not a counteroffer, not an indication of a reserve price, not an appraisal, and not a representation of value. The same text appears for every visitor who types the same number. It has no legal effect whatsoever.
The visual meter, the button labels, the success message ("Noted", "Received"), and any similar element are purely presentational. The words "Send it", "Send it now", "Send it before I change my mind", "Now we are talking", "Take it", "Just buy it", "Buy now", and any similar phrase are interface labels and humour, not statements of intent, and do not create any expectation, promise, or obligation.
4. Your offer
Any number you submit is a non-binding expression of interest from you to the Registrant. It is not a contract, not a bid in an auction, not a deposit, and not a purchase. Submitting it does not reserve the domain, does not create a priority, and does not obligate the Registrant to respond, negotiate, accept, counter, or decline.
The Registrant may, at sole discretion and without giving a reason:
- ignore any offer and never reply;
- decline any offer regardless of amount, including offers above any number suggested by the interface;
- decide not to transfer the domain to anyone at any price;
- take the domain off the market, redirect it, or let it lapse;
- respond to some offers and not others;
- request identification, proof of funds, or other information before engaging;
- withdraw from any discussion at any stage before a written purchase agreement is signed by both parties.
No agreement of any kind exists unless and until a separate written purchase agreement, identifying the parties, the domain, the price, the payment method, and the transfer mechanics, has been signed by both the Registrant and the buyer. Email exchanges, form submissions, text messages, verbal statements, and this website do not constitute such an agreement.
5. Payment, escrow, and transfer
If, and only if, a written purchase agreement is signed, the following defaults apply unless that agreement says otherwise:
- Payment in United States dollars through a licensed third-party escrow service selected by the Registrant (currently Escrow.com) or by wire transfer to an account designated in writing by the Registrant.
- The buyer pays all escrow fees, wire fees, currency conversion costs, and taxes, duties, or levies applicable to the buyer.
- Transfer is by registrar push, authorization code, or registrar-to-registrar transfer, initiated within one business day after the escrow service confirms that funds have cleared. Some registries impose transfer locks or holding periods that neither party controls.
- No instalments, financing, lease-to-own, holds, or rent-to-own arrangements.
- The Registrant does not accept cryptocurrency, gift cards, cheques, money orders, or payment through any platform not named in the written agreement.
Fraud is common in domain transactions. The Registrant will never ask you to pay outside a licensed escrow service or a written wire instruction that you have verified by a second channel. If you receive such a request, it is not from the Registrant.
6. Buyer responsibility and due diligence
You are solely responsible for determining whether acquiring or using this domain name is lawful and appropriate for you. This includes, without limitation, your own investigation of any trademark, trade name, unfair competition, passing-off, consumer protection, or other rights that any third party may assert in any jurisdiction relevant to you, and compliance with the registry's eligibility, residency, or use requirements for the relevant top-level domain.
The Registrant provides no legal, trademark, tax, or regulatory advice, has conducted no trademark clearance on your behalf, and makes no statement about your ability to use the domain for any purpose. You should consult your own qualified counsel before making an offer.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The domain name, if ever transferred, is transferred "as is" and "where is", with all faults and without any warranty of any kind, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Registrant disclaims all warranties including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, freedom from third-party claims, search-engine standing, traffic, historical use, deliverability of email, or resale value.
The Registrant makes no representation that the domain is free of, or will remain free of, any third-party claim, dispute, UDRP or equivalent proceeding, court order, registry action, registrar lock, or blacklist. The Registrant makes no representation about the past use, history, or reputation of the domain before the Registrant's registration date.
This website is provided "as is". The Registrant does not warrant that it is accurate, complete, error-free, secure, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Registrant shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings, arising out of or relating to this website, any offer, any communication, any failure to reply, any decision not to sell, or any domain transfer, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In no event shall the Registrant's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this website or any transaction exceed the amount actually received by the Registrant from you under a signed written purchase agreement, or one hundred United States dollars if no such amount has been received, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions the Registrant's liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Registrant from and against any claim, demand, proceeding, loss, damage, cost, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to (a) your use of this website, (b) any offer or communication you submit, (c) your acquisition or use of the domain name after transfer, including any claim that such use infringes or misappropriates the rights of a third party, or (d) your breach of these terms.
10. Prohibited use of this site
You may not use this website or its form to: send spam, threats, harassment, or abusive content; submit offers you do not intend to honour; impersonate any person or entity; submit another person's email address without their consent; probe, scan, scrape, or automate interaction with the site; attempt to interfere with its operation; or use it for any unlawful purpose. The Registrant may report abusive submissions to the relevant providers and authorities.
If you are acting on behalf of a company or a trademark holder, you represent that you are authorised to do so. Communications from lawyers or authorised representatives regarding rights in the domain should be sent by email to the address in section 16, should say so plainly, and will be read and treated as such rather than as purchase offers.
11. Privacy notice
The Registrant takes your privacy seriously and wants you to know exactly what this site collects, because it collects more than a typical form.
What is collected.
- The number you type into the offer field, including the current value at the time any submission is made.
- Your email address, if you type one. Note: your email address may be transmitted to the Registrant as soon as it appears to be a complete, valid address, even if you never press the send button. This happens after a short pause in typing, when you leave the field, or when you leave the page. This is deliberate, so that a partially completed inquiry is not lost. If you do not want this, do not type your email address into the field.
- The address (URL) of the page you were on, which includes the domain name and any query parameters.
- Standard technical data received by the hosting and form providers as part of any web request, such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps.
How it is collected and where it goes. Form data is sent to this website's own server function and stored in private storage on Vercel, the hosting provider, where only the Registrant can read it. A copy may also be emailed to the Registrant. The website itself is hosted on Vercel. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Each of these providers processes technical data under its own privacy policy, which the Registrant does not control.
Why. To receive and evaluate your expression of interest, to reply if the Registrant chooses to, to negotiate and document any sale, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations. The legal basis, where one is required, is the Registrant's legitimate interest in receiving and responding to inquiries that you initiated, and, for any subsequent transaction, the performance of a contract with you.
What is not done. Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers. It is not used for marketing lists or newsletters. It is not combined with other data sources to profile you. No advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies are set by this site. The site stores nothing in your browser other than what is strictly necessary for the page to function.
Retention. Inquiry emails are kept for as long as reasonably needed to evaluate, respond to, and document inquiries, and to defend against claims, and then deleted. Records relating to a completed transaction are kept for as long as required by applicable tax and legal record-keeping rules.
Your rights. Depending on where you live (including the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, and other jurisdictions), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to receive a copy of it, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email the Registrant at david@dbcompute.com with the subject line "PRIVACY" and the domain name. Requests are honoured within thirty days where the law requires it.
Children. This site is not directed at anyone under eighteen. Do not submit an offer if you are under eighteen or otherwise lack legal capacity to contract.
International transfer. The Registrant is located in the United States. If you are outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States by the Registrant and the providers named above.
12. Intellectual property in this site
The text, layout, design, and code of this website are the property of the Registrant and may not be copied or reused without permission, except that you may print or save a copy of this page for your records.
13. Third-party services and links
This site relies on third-party services (hosting, form relay, fonts, escrow). The Registrant is not responsible for their availability, conduct, security, or policies. Any reference to Escrow.com or any other provider is a statement of intended payment mechanics only and is not an endorsement or an affiliation.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to this website or any offer submitted through it, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your place of residence provides otherwise and cannot be excluded. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court. Any signed written purchase agreement may specify a different governing law and forum, in which case that agreement controls for the transaction it covers.
Nothing in this section limits any right to bring a proceeding under a domain-name dispute-resolution policy applicable to the relevant registry.
15. General
- Entire understanding. These terms are the entire understanding between you and the Registrant regarding this website. They are superseded only by a signed written purchase agreement, and only as to the transaction that agreement covers.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it is to be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- No waiver. Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
- No agency. Nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, or fiduciary relationship.
- Assignment. You may not assign any right or obligation under these terms. The Registrant may assign them to any successor in interest to the domain.
- Changes. The Registrant may change these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page. Changes apply to offers submitted after posting.
- Language. These terms are written in English. Any translation is for convenience only and the English version controls.
- Headings. Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation. "Including" means "including without limitation".
16. Contact
To contact the Registrant about these terms, a privacy request, a rights concern, or anything other than a purchase offer, email david@dbcompute.com and state the nature of your message clearly in the subject line. The offer form on the front page is for purchase offers only.
